At CONFUSIO, we want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. Because all of our products are digital and delivered instantly, our refund policy is specific and clearly defined. Please read this page carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions, contact us before buying — we are always happy to help.

Digital Products — No Physical Returns

CONFUSIO sells exclusively digital products — ebooks and digital publications in formats such as PDF, EPUB, and MOBI. Because our products are delivered electronically and accessed immediately upon purchase, traditional returns do not apply.

There is no physical item to return. Once a digital file has been downloaded or accessed, it cannot be "returned" in the conventional sense. For this reason, our refund policy is based on specific eligibility criteria outlined below, rather than a blanket return window.

Free titles: Most CONFUSIO titles are available for free and require no payment whatsoever. If you are unsure about a paid title, we encourage you to explore our free catalog first to get a sense of our writing style and content quality.

Refund Eligibility

We assess each refund request individually and fairly. The following table outlines which situations are eligible for a full refund and which are not:

Our commitment: If something goes wrong on our end — a technical failure, a corrupted file, a delivery error — we will always make it right, either by resending the correct file or issuing a full refund. We stand fully behind the quality of our products.

Refund Request Time Limits

To ensure fair and timely resolution, refund requests must be submitted within the following timeframes:

Requests submitted after the 7-day window will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We cannot guarantee refunds outside this period, but we will always do our best to find a fair solution.

How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure the fastest possible resolution:

If your request is approved, the refund is returned to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.

Refund Method

All approved refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:

  • Credit or debit card: refund returned to the original card — typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank
  • PayPal: refund returned to your PayPal account balance — typically within 3–5 business days
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay: refund returned to the associated card or account

CONFUSIO does not issue refunds in cash, store credit, cryptocurrency, or any method other than the original payment method. If your original payment method is no longer active (e.g., expired card), please notify us so we can arrange an alternative.

Please note: The time it takes for a refund to appear on your statement is determined by your bank or payment provider — not by CONFUSIO. Once we process the refund on our end, we have no control over when it appears in your account. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us.

Chargebacks

We strongly encourage all customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. In almost all cases, we can resolve the issue faster and more effectively through direct communication.

  • Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in the suspension of your access to CONFUSIO products and services
  • Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks will be disputed with supporting evidence provided to the payment processor
  • Chargebacks add unnecessary delays — a direct refund request through us is typically resolved within 2 business days
We are on your side. If something went wrong, just tell us. Our goal is to resolve every issue quickly and fairly. A chargeback should always be the last resort, not the first step.

Exceptions & Special Circumstances

We understand that not every situation fits neatly into a policy. If your circumstances are unusual or your issue is not clearly covered by this policy, please contact us anyway. We will always consider exceptional situations with empathy and good faith.

Examples of exceptional circumstances we may consider:

  • A serious technical failure on our platform that prevented access to purchased content for an extended period
  • A verified payment error caused by a bug in our checkout system
  • Documented cases of medical emergency or other extraordinary personal circumstances preventing timely contact within the 7-day window

We do not promise refunds in exceptional circumstances, but we do promise to listen and respond with fairness.

CONFUSIO reserves the right to update this Refund & Returns Policy at any time. The date of the most recent update is always displayed at the top of this page. Any changes take effect immediately upon publication.

Purchases made prior to a policy change will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
